Micro business program scheduled

FINDLAY — Recruitment is underway to enroll participants in the next Micro Business Development Program offered by the HHWP Community Action Commission. The program consists of 13 sessions held from 5:45-8:45 p.m. on Thursdays beginning May 31 at the Findlay-Hancock County Chamber of Commerce, 123 E. Main Cross St., Findlay. The final session will be Aug. 23.

As the facility administrator and registered nurse of the newly opened DaVita Dialysis of Upper Sandusky, I am responsible for our community’s dialysis patients. Patients with kidney failure require dialysis, which cleanses the blood of extra fluid and toxins when the kidneys are no longer able to so.

Power outage strands riders at amusement park

SANDUSKY (AP) — A power outage at an amusement park in Ohio left riders stranded on some of its roller coasters and other rides. 2 injured in ATV crash

A Carey man and his daughter were flown by medical helicopter to a Toledo hospital following a two-vehicle ATV crash in Wharton late Sunday night. The Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office report states the department received a 911 call reporting an ATV crash that injured two people.
