Sycamore Fire Department gets pair of grants SYCAMORE — Fire Chief Rodney Clinger reported the Sycamore Volunteer Fire Department was recently awarded a pair of grants at Tuesday’s village council meeting. Clinger said the department received a BWC grant for $30,919.24 for a Stryker mechanized cot, which will assist with lifting and lowering cots and should help with back injuries. Read More

Upper advances to Envirothon state contest A total of 43 teams from across Northwest Ohio competed in the 2018 Area 1 Envirothon competition recently at the Blue Creek Conservation Area in Whitehouse.
