All Upper Sandusky student-athletes in seventh through 12th grades will be subject to random drug testing beginning in the fall. The Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools Board of Education approved the update to the athletic code of conduct Monday, changes that Superintendent Laurie Vent said were developed with input from a committee of students, parents and school officials.

SYCAMORE — A 17-year-old Harpster boy was flown by medical helicopter to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus after sheriff’s deputies found him drunken and passed out at an underage drinking party at an Eden Township home early Thursday morning.
