REACH kicks off in Upper Sandusky

The program of Recognizing Enriching All Children, commonly known as REACH, had its first session Saturday with approximately 270 children registered to attend the program’s fifth year. REACH is a program that takes place over three consecutive weekends and allows children in kindergarten through fifth grades an opportunity to take two classes each week to explore possible interests.

Municipal court cases tried

Criminal Richard A. Bendele, Carey, charged by the Carey police with possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of hashish and possession of a dangerous drug instrument, pleaded no contest, finding deferred pending pre-sentence investigation; and by the state with domestic violence and criminal damaging, amended plea to no contest, finding deferred pending pre-sentence investigation.
