A McCutchenville woman came on station the morning of Feb. 20 wishing to file a theft charge, as her deceased father’s gun was taken by his former girlfriend. It was determined to be a civil matter.

A Sycamore woman who pleaded guilty to grand theft in January was sentenced to 30 days in the Wyandot County Jail and ordered to pay restitution of $10,000 on Wednesday in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Kisha J. Taylor, 34, was sentenced for the fourth-degree felony after admitting to stealing from the Wyandot County Agricultural Society from November 2013 to April 2016 during her employment as fair board secretary, according to the Wyandot County Prosecutor’s Office investigation report.

A Carey man pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree felony charge of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor Wednesday in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court. Alec M. Tiell, 20, admitted to having sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl when he was 19 years old.

An Upper Sandusky Exempted Village Schools bus driver reported a passing a stopped school bus violation on North Sandusky Avenue early the morning of Feb. 15. The license plate number given provided no positive identification results.

Samantha J. Mullholand, Carey, was cited for failure to yield from a private drive after a crash in the 8000 block of CH 97, Salem Township, the afternoon of Feb. 17. Robin B. McGrath, Upper Sandusky, was arrested the afternoon of Feb. 17 on a warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court for failure to appear on a charge of passing a bad check.
