Garage catches fire in Sycamore SYCAMORE — Law enforcement officials responded to a report of a small garage fire in Sycamore on Tuesday evening. Two people received minor misdemeanor citations for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia upon investigation. According to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy responded to 334 Kilborn St. around 5:20 p.m. after the office received a call from a “passerby” about a garage fire. Carey qualifies 34 for state DECA competition CAREY — Forty-six Carey students were rewarded with district awards at the recent DECA District 3 Competitive Events Conference at Ohio Northern University. Wyandot high school FFA members receive chapter degrees at joint event This year, Carey FFA hosted the degree award event on Feb. 6 with 46 FFA members from Carey, Mohawk, Riverdale, and Upper Sandusky receiving their Chapter Degree.
