Trapping approved on county land The Wyandot County Board of Commissioners approved a motion to allow an Upper Sandusky man to continue trapping wildlife on county property for the 2016 season Monday. Local group gathers to destigmatize issues of mental illness and suicide As snow blew sideways outside the Wyandot County Courthouse on Saturday, 13 tiny candle flames lit the faces inside during a candlelight vigil to honor 41 people who have died by suicide. Upper Sandusky Mayor Scott Washburn said the contrast between Friday’s sunny, warm weather and Saturday’s frigid blowing snowfall was an example of what it may feel like to live with mental illness. Ohio bicycle tour to return to Wyandot County COLUMBUS — The Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure will make a stop in Upper Sandusky on June 20 in a route featuring north central Ohio, organizers announced this morning.
