Tiffin financial coaches to offer open house Saturday

TIFFIN — Small Victories Financial Coaching now is sharing an office with KKR Consulting on the second floor of the Laird Arcade in downtown Tiffin. Small Victories Financial Coaching offers personalized one-on-one financial coaching to help couples and individuals create a plan to take control of their day-to-day financial living, a press release states.

Local voters approve two countywide levies

Both of the countywide tax levy issues on Tuesday’s general election ballot were approved by voters in support of the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, Emergency Medical Services and Public Health. A total of 6,707 voters or 65.63 percent approved the .5-percent sales tax renewal to support the sheriff’s office and EMS.

Boys admit clown story was not true

All of the juveniles who reported an incident involving a group of clowns jumping out at them near the bike path behind Harrison Smith Park have admitted to authorities that it did not happen. Police officers interviewed five juveniles with their parents at the police department after the initial incident, according to an updated report by the Upper Sandusky Police Department.

Safety committee moves meetings

The Upper Sandusky safety committee will meet at 4 p.m. the first Monday of each month beginning Dec. 5. The committee previously was meeting after the regular meeting of Upper Sandusky City Council but opted to move its meetings to 4 p.m.

Riverdale FFA hosts Harvest Day

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale FFA chapter recently hosted its annual Harvest Day. Two rotations took place, with one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Second and third graders attended in the morning, and kindergarteners and first graders in the afternoon.
