Riverdale seeks passage of renewal

MOUNT BLANCHARD — The Riverdale Local School District is asking its voters to approve a three-year, 1-percent income tax renewal on the Nov. 8 ballot. The levy, if approved, will continue to generate an estimated $1.5 million annually in general operating money for Riverdale. It would take effect Jan. 1, 2018.

USCL board moves forward with 2016 painting project

Sections of the Upper Sandusky Community Library will receive a face lift after the library trustees board unanimously approved as much as $15,000 out of the capital improvements fund. The board chose rural Upper Sandusky-based Shumaker’s Painting and Wallpapering LLC to complete the project after receiving three bids ranging from $14,000 to more than $31,000.

Man hurt in ATV crash

ANTRIM TOWNSHIP — An Antrim Township man was injured in an all-terrain vehicle crash on TH 10 near TH 56 on Wednesday night. Todd Cover was traveling north on TH 10 around 7:30 p.m. when his ATV turned and rolled to the left side of the roadway, throwing Cover from the seat, according to a report from the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office.
