ADA — The Ohio Northern University Wind Orchestra will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 14 in the university’s Freed Center for the Performing Arts. The Wind Orchestra, under the direction of Thomas A. Hunt, Ph.D., will perform a program of standard literature for winds and percussion, including works from Percy Grainger, Gustav Holst, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Samuel Barber and John Williams.

TIFFIN — The Ritz Players will present “Elvis People” at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 15 and 2 p.m. Oct. 16 at The National Theatre at The Ritz, 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin.

FINDLAY — The Arts Partnership presents “Lightwire Theater in The Ugly Duckling,” an electroluminescent puppet and dance show at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay. In an age when technology seems to provide many distractions, Lightwire Theater brings together the classic tale of the “The Ugly Duckling” to the modern stage.

MARION — Pam Temple and Spencer Funk from the Cincinnati-based, award-winning group Wild Carrot and their Roots Band, Brenda Wolfersberger and Brandt Smith, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Palace Theatre’s May Pavilion.

The mayor of Upper Sandusky shared a message about Ram pride and Ram family during a pep rally Wednesday night at the Upper Sandusky High School football stadium. After the introduction of all fall sports teams, songs by the USHS marching band, majorette and flag corps, cheers from the cheerleading squad and a game for the 2016 homecoming court, Mayor Scott Washburn took center stage to pump up students, parents and spectators alike with his message of hope and unity.

Upper Sandusky Police Department A private property accident involving two semitrailers occurred in the 1600 block of East Wyandot Avenue the evening of Aug. 24.

The Wyandot County Courthouse will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Monday for training purposes. Doors will reopen at 1:30 p.m.

The accounting office of Mizick Miller and Company Inc. recently announced the addition of Jacob D. Studer, CPA, CGMA, to the firm. Studer graduated from Ashland High School and The University of Toledo College of Business and Innovation.
