Safety blotter: September 11, 2015

An Upper Sandusky man reported the afternoon of Aug. 3 he received an apparently fraudulent phone bill from a collections agency. Joshua S. Pryor, Nevada, was warned for improper display of license plates the evening of Aug. 3 after a traffic stop at the intersection of East Wyandot Avenue and Rock Run Road.

Board of DD moves meeting

The Wyandot County Board of Developmental Disabilities meeting for September has been moved to 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24. The meeting was changed from Sept. 17 because it was scheduled during the Wyandot County Fair.

JFS director: Youth work program was successful

Wyandot County’s program to place youth in the summer workforce was a success. Justin Fagan, director of the Wyandot County Department of Jobs and Family Services, told the county commissioners he has received only positive feedback on the program that places youth ages 14-17 with area businesses for the summer through funding from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.
