Man pleads guilty to importuning A New Riegle man faces up to six months in jail after pleading guilty to a charge of attempted importuning in Wyandot County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday afternoon. Michael T. Nordyke, 66, pleaded guilty to the first-degree misdemeanor charge, which stemmed from an incident that took place at a Wyandot County campground in May, during which he made comments of a sexual nature to a female relative between the ages of 13 and 16. West Virginia man sentenced to 8 years in prison for drug trafficking A West Virginia man was sentenced to the mandatory eight years in prison on two counts for his role in attempting to transport drugs through Wyandot County last April. Mark E. Parsons, 46, of Poca, West Virginia, was sentenced to seven years for one count of trafficking of heroin and seven years for trafficking in cocaine by Wyandot County Common Pleas Court Judge Kate Aubry on Tuesday morning.
