Frampton performing at Ritz Theatre

TIFFIN — Peter Frampton Raw — An Acoustic Tour will take The Ritz Theatre stage at 7:30 p.m. Friday at 30 S. Washington St., Tiffin. Following his summer co-headlining run with American rock legends Cheap Trick, Peter Frampton is back on the road, this time performing an acoustic-only set for the first time.

That was the message Nancy Proctor, director of service excellence at Blanchard Valley Health Systems had during the first boss’ breakfast sponsored by the Carey Area Chamber of Commerce last Thursday.

Over 700 pills seized

CAREY — Two central Ohio men were arrested Sunday after being found with a large amount of prescription painkillers, cocaine and marijuana during a traffic stop on U.S. 23 in Crawford Township. According to a reports by the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office, Cadence C. Lawson, Reynoldsburg, and Michael D. Brickey, Columbus, were found to be in possession of 707 Percocet pills, an undetermined amount of cocaine and misdemeanor amounts of marijuana following the early morning traffic stop on U.S. 23 near CH 4.

Officials in Sycamore hear of contracting option for PD

SYCAMORE — As Sycamore officials review options for moving forward after the resignation of the village’s lone police officer, a public hearing will be scheduled at a later date to give residents an opportunity to weigh in. Three area residents visited a special meeting of Sycamore Village Council on Tuesday evening to share their thoughts on options for the village’s police department after the resignation of chief Richard Blankenship, effective Oct. 27.
