Auditor says co. sales tax revenue is increasing Sales tax revenue in Wyandot County is coming in at a faster pace in 2015 than at this time last year. Fire building dedicated in Melmore MELMORE — The Eden Township Board of Trustees joined with Sycamore Fire and Rescue on Saturday to dedicate a new $260,000 fire station at the site of the former Melmore Elementary School. Marion man gets community control for break-in of lieutenant’s vehicle A 19-year-old who broke into an off-duty Wyandot County law enforcement official’s truck in August will not have to serve prison time. James V. Griffith, of Marion, was sentenced to two years of community control and ordered to complete a six-month alcohol and drug rehabilitation program for stealing items — including a stereo system, rifle, ammunition and police scanners — from the truck of WCSO Lt.
