‘The Mill’ comes down in Sycamore SYCAMORE — An iconic building that has stood tall in the village of Sycamore for more than a century has been reduced to a pile of rubble. Harpster likely to decline grant HARPSTER — The village of Harpster has been approved for grant funding to repave a portion of Cherokee Street, but the village’s cost is not in its budget and the project will be postponed, Mayor Jim Robertson told council Tuesday.
