Noisy blasting to begin

The Wyandot County Board of Commissioners and Midstate Contractors Inc. asked residents to have patience over the next several weekends at a weekly construction update meeting on the Wyandot County Courthouse restoration project.

Angelo’s Pizza celebrates 40 yrs.

CAREY — A Carey pizza shop is celebrating 40 years of business and last week received accolades from the offices of Ohio Gov. John Kasich and Lt. Gov. Mary Taylor. Angelo’s Pizza owners Elaine and Tom Fair are marking four decades of business and have been closed less than eight days in all those years, they said, listing some of the days.

Carey DECA seeking sponsors

CAREY — The Carey High School DECA chamber is implementing another cross promotion sponsorship program for the 2015-16 school year in coordination with its second cornhole tournament. The cross promotion campaign will give community supporters an opportunity to support the chamber with a one-time payment that will allow for a variety of promotional devices to be utilized through the school year.
