SYCAMORE — Sycamore village officials on Tuesday discussed an ongoing water problem near its electric building with a resident who says her yard, garage and driveway are being inundated by water. Jen Walters visited Sycamore Village Council during its regular meeting Tuesday to see what the village plans to do about water reportedly coming off its building, as well as what she called a “worthless” catch basin on the sloped street in front of her house, located in an alley off West Fifth Street, between North Sycamore Avenue and North Pennington Street.

For Trisha Troiano, the words were personal. Her mother, Carole Shaw, is a three-time cancer survivor and was this year’s honorary survivor.
The Wyandot County Museum hosted Treasures From My Mother’s Attic on Saturday, a show that demonstrated fashion throughout the years. Displayed fashions included those from the early 20th century through the 1980s, Bonnie Eyestone said.
