PD responds to calls

Jennifer L. Norville, New Riegel, was arrested the afternoon of July 17 on a warrant from the Fostoria Police Department. She was transported to the Wyandot County Jail until Fostoria law enforcement could take custody of her.

Safety Blotter: August 21, 2015

A Carey man arrived at the Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office to pick up firearms that previously had been recovered. The firearms were reported as stolen by the Butler County Sheriff’s Office. The matter remained under investigation.

Safety Blotter: August 19, 2015

Joshua Israel, Upper Sandusky, was warned for a red light violation and fictitious registration early the morning of July 12 after a traffic stop at the intersection of Bigelow Street and North Sandusky Avenue. William Balduf, Upper Sandusky, was warned for expired registration the morning of July 12 after a traffic stop at the intersection of South Warpole and Hicks streets.

Upper Sandusky Police Dept. reports released

Shawna M. Smith, Upper Sandusky, was warned for no plate light the night of June 30 after a traffic stop in the 100 block of East Wyandot Avenue. Braxton Z. Zier-Leuthold, Bucyrus, and Dillon C. Emahiser, Nevada, were warned for being at Harrison Smith Park after closing the night of June 30.

Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office responds to calls

Richard H. Ford, Sylvania, was traveling northbound on U.S. 23 the afternoon of July 6 in a 2012 Dodge Ram when he attempted to pass Thomas Dickrede, Lima, driving a 2007 International semitrailer and struck the passenger side mirror on the trailer. Deputies responded to a report of a theft the night of July 6 in the 1900 block of CH 44, Sycamore.

Safety Blotter: August 15, 2015

Dylan R. Rowe and Daren R. Rowe, both of Forest, each were cited for no motorcycle endorsement, and Rowe was cited for driving under suspension the evening of July 5 after a traffic stop on TH 85 near CH 215. Deputies assisted the Ohio State Highway Patrol with a traffic stop early the morning of July 6 on U.S. 30 near CH 124.
