Bruce Jay Shrider, of Huron, died at his residence and was found by two of his sons Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015. He was 63.

Rosanna Marie Turner Riggs, of Vinton, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at Holzer Assisted Living, Gallipolis. She was 88.

COLUMBUS — Michael Ivan Thiel died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015. He was 67.

Audrey L. Alspach, of Upper Sandusky, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 89. Born Sept. 21, 1926 in Carey, she was a daughter of the late Elmer and Maude (Lupton) Donelson. She married Hugh L. “Luke” Alspach on Dec. 1, 1945 in Greenup, Kentucky, and he died Jan. 27, 1997.

MARION — Linda Darlene Messmer, of Marion, died Monday, Jan. 4, 2016 at Genesis Presidential Care Center, Marion. She was 66. Born Sept. 26, 1929 in Marion, she was a daughter of the late John and Priscilla (Woods) Harris. She married Myron Joseph Messmer on July 27, 1974, and he died Jan. 24, 1993.

Sgt. Tristan M. Clinger, age 28, of Lakehurst, NJ, passed away on December 26, 2015 in New Jersey. Tristan was born on October 23, 1987 in Marion, Ohio, to MGySgt., Ret., Daniel and Darlene (Tiell) Clinger, who survive in Xenia, Ohio.

Mary Jane Fleck, of Upper Sandusky, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at Fairhaven Community. She was 99.

CAREY — Pauline E. Row, of Tiffin and formerly of Carey, died at 2:50 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. She was 88.

CAREY — Ruth E. Zender, of Carey, died at 11:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016 at her residence. She was 92.

Audrey L. Alspach, of Upper Sandusky, died at 3:35 a.m. today at Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was 89. Arrangements are pending at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home.
