NORTH ROBINSON — Colonel Crawford softball pulled away from Mohawk in the back half of an 11-1 win in six innings on Wednesday to advance to 5-0 (1-0 Northern 10 Athletic Conference). Returning N10 ERA leader Sydney Studer allowed one run on three hits with eight strikeouts in six innings.

MORRAL — Qyenton Stone threw a four-hit shutout and provided plenty of run support for himself. He had four hits, including a home run, and scored three runs to lead the Royals to an 11-0 victory Wednesday at Ridgedale. On the mound, Stone (1-0) walked one and struck out seven.

DELPHOS — Riverdale briefly held a lead but Delphos Jefferson started even stronger in its half of the first inning in a 7-2 non-conference baseball victory Tuesday. The Falcons (1-1) scored once in the top of the first, but gave up four runs to the Wildcats in the bottom of the inning.

Upper Sandusky’s junior varsity softball team defeated Bucyrus, 19-6, on Wednesday. Taylor Frey had a pair of singles, and Jordan Franz scored three runs.

Taylor Emerick gave up one unearned run on the mound and had a pair of hits at the plate as Upper Sandusky topped New Riegel, 7-1, in a non-conference baseball game Tuesday.

Jaya Smalley hit a pair of home runs, but it was not enough as Upper Sandusky’s seventh-inning rally came up short, 7-6, against New Riegel on Tuesday.

SYCAMORE — Lakota took an early lead and held it throughout an 8-4 victory over Mohawk in a non-league softball game Tuesday. The Raiders led 3-0 after the Warriors committed three errors in the first inning, and they expanded their lead to 4-0 on a second-inning home run.

BLUFFTON — Bluffton defeated Carey, 10-3, in a non-league softball game Tuesday. Freshman Hannah Lonsway pitched three innings in her varsity debut and allowed six earned runs on six hits with one strikeout.

PLYMOUTH — Plymouth scored 12 runs in the fourth inning to run-rule Wynford, 18-4, in a non-conference softball game Tuesday.

PLYMOUTH — Wynford took advantage of eight Plymouth errors and got a solid pitching outing from Trey Stone in a 9-4 non-conference baseball victory Tuesday.
