SHELBY — Upper Sandusky imposed its brand of basketball in a non-league girls game at Shelby on Thursday. Even when fouls and turnovers started to pile up in the first half, the Rams continued to run.

Vikings can’t handle Falcons’ press

MARION — Freshman Kami Swartz broke the school record in the 100 fly and was part of four first-place finishes as Upper Sandusky’s girls and boys won a swim meet Wednesday at the Marion YMCA.

Gabriel signs with Cuyahoga CC

For Cody Gabriel, becoming a pitcher was a process that began 10 years ago. The southpaw started playing baseball at age 8 and transitioned to travel ball at age 12. Now, the Upper Sandusky senior will continue to play beyond this spring as a member of Cuyahoga Community College’s 2016 signing class.
