SYCAMORE — Three different players recorded double-digit kills for Mohawk in a 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 25-18 victory against Gibsonburg on Tuesday night. Mya Morris led the way for the Warriors (13-8) with 16, with Destini Oler and Addie Thiery adding 12 and 10, respectively.

Upper Sandusky was overmatched by visiting Ontario on Tuesday, losing a non-conference girls soccer match, 6-1. Sierra Carey scored for the Rams late in the first half, curling a shot under the cross bar from the left wing.

Wynford made late runs in the first and third sets but lost its Northern 10 Athletic Conference match against Buckeye Central on senior night Tuesday, 25-21, 25-16, 25-22. The Royals struggled to get the ball down on their attacks, hitting just .127 as a team.

Ontario scored five unanswered goals on its way to an 8-4 win over visiting Upper Sandusky on Tuesday in a non-league boys soccer match. Taylor Emerick scored the game’s first two goals in a four-minute stretch to put Upper Sandusky (5-9-1) ahead, 2-0, at the 26:18 mark.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale was shut out for just the second time all season Monday, dropping a 1-0 contest to non-league Swanton.

MONROEVILLE — The No. 3-ranked team in the state in Division IV was too much for Upper Sandusky in a non-conference volleyball match Monday night. Monroeville swept the Rams, 25-18, 25-6, 25-19.

NEW RIEGEL — Mohawk came back after losing the first set to defeat New Riegel in four Monday in a non-league volleyball match, 17-25, 27-25, 25-23, 25-14. The Warriors (12-8) had success defending at the net with six players recording a block.

PANDORA — Riverdale completed its regular season with a 25-15, 25-17, 0-25, 25-22 loss to Pandora-Gilboa on Monday evening. The Rockets (14-5, 8-3 Blanchard Valley Conference) forfeited the third set because of a player having too many sets played.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Practice paid off for Riverdale in one area Saturday morning. Nathaniel Hughes curled in a corner kick for a goal early in the first half, and it was good enough for the Falcons to take a 1-0 victory against Upper Sandusky in a boys North Central Ohio Soccer Association match.

FOSTORIA — Trevor Cook finished second in the boys Black Division race to lead area runners in the Fostoria Boosters Invitational on Saturday. Cook finished in 16:15.67 for Carey with teammates Jack Yeater (17:23.53) and Tyler Leist (17:26.32) finishing in seventh and eighth, respectively.
