Riverdale gets first victory

ARLINGTON — Riverdale picked up its first win of the season with a 240-257 victory against Ridgemont on Tuesday at Sycamore Springs Golf Course. Harlon Roby earned medalist honors and led the Falcons with a 53.

Warriors remain undefeated

Brayden Dunlap shot a 39 to earn medalist honors, and Mohawk defeated Marion Harding, 168-196, in a warm-up for sectionals on Tuesday at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. Chet Margraf added a 42, Nathan Kimmet had a 43 and Carson Weinandy finished with a 44 for the Warriors (10-0).

BUCYRUS — Mohawk put forth a strong defensive effort to beat Bucyrus in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Tuesday. Mya Morris had nine kills, and Addie Thiery had seven to pace the Warriors offense, but defensively, Mohawk (9-6, 7-4 N10) was big at the net.

ATTICA — The Mohawk seventh-grade football team rolled to another victory, 38-0 against Seneca East on Tuesday. Trey Combs threw touchdown passes to Austin Tusing and Mason Danner and completed a two-point conversion pass to Danner.

SYCAMORE — The Carey volleyball team did not have time to dwell on Thursday’s loss to Upper Sandusky. The Blue Devils did not, instead responding with a 25-19, 26-24, 23-25, 25-20 victory at rival Mohawk on Monday night.

Rams roll over Redmen

Upper Sandusky won three of four matches and took the No. 2 doubles match by default against Fostoria on Monday to close the regular season with its 11th win, 4-1.

Wynford wins 4th straight by sweeping Col. Crawford

NORTH ROBINSON — Wynford won its fourth straight match and has won 12 sets in a row with a 25-18, 25-20, 25-20 victory at Colonel Crawford on Monday night. The Royals (9-7, 6-4 Northern 10 Athletic Conference) have not lost a set since dropping the first one in a 3-1 victory against Bucyrus last Tuesday.
