MOUNT BLANCHARD — Riverdale swept Cory-Rawson in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball match Monday, defeating the Hornets, 25-22, 25-14, 25-13. Carrol Pauley provided a spark for the Falcons offense with nine kills and four service aces, hitting at a clip above .950 for the match.

CAREY — Shelby Kin had 20 kills as Carey rolled past Ridgedale, 25-5, 25-13, 25-15, in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball match Monday. Kin was 32-of-34 hitting and went 8-of-9 serving with an ace.

Tommy Martin shot a 42, while four of his teammates finished with 44s in Upper Sandusky’s 174-202 victory against Wynford in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference golf match Monday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Turner Dilley, Zane Kitzler, Trevor Clifford and Hunter Rhoden all had 44s.

BUCYRUS — Marcus Miller continued his hot streak with a 39 in Carey’s 174-214 Northern 10 Athletic Conference golf victory against Bucyrus on Monday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. Miller now has shot in the 30s in three straight league matches and his scoring average of 40.00 ranks second in the N10 to Seneca East’s Johnny Diehm (39.29).

BUCYRUS — Chet Margraf shot an 83 to lead Mohawk to the championship Saturday in the Ridgedale Invitational at The Golf Club of Bucyrus. The Warriors edged Mount Gilead, 352-354, for first place in the eight-team tournament.

BUCYRUS — Nadia English and Hope Voorhees won the No. 2 doubles championship as the Upper Sandusky girls tennis team finished second in the Sam Sabback Invitational on Saturday at Bucyrus. The Rams tied Mansfield St. Peter’s with 14 points in the tournament, but the Spartans were named champions by virtue of having more first-place finishes.

TIFFIN — Taking on some of the best teams and runners in Division III, Carey’s boys finished seventh in the Division III-A race in one of the country’s largest cross meets, the Tiffin Carnival, on Saturday at Hedges-Boyer Park. Trevor Cook was ninth in 16:31.78 to lead the Blue Devils, who finished with 251 points.

SYCAMORE — Tiffin Columbian scored the first five goals in a 5-2 victory against Mohawk in a girls North Central Ohio Soccer Association match Saturday. The Tornadoes (2-3, 1-2 NCOSA) got on the board in the eighth minute with an own goal and went up 2-0 eight minutes later on a goal by Bri Bird.

NORTH BALTIMORE — Marcus Miller shot a 79 to lead Carey to a third-place finish Saturday in the North Baltimore Tiger Invitational at Birch Run Golf Course. Van Buren was an easy winner with a 308, while Lake finished 10 strokes better than Carey, 337-347, for second place in the 10-team tournament.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Four different players scored for Riverdale in a 4-0 non-conference girls soccer victory against Benjamin Logan on Saturday. Reygan Frey and Sydney Holderman had first-half goals, and Alex Rothlisberger and Gabi Rodriguez scored in the second half for the Falcons (4-1).
