BUCYRUS — Carey earned its first Northern 10 Athletic Conference golf win of the year by beating Bucyrus, 182-209, on Monday at The Golf Club of Bucyrus.

KENTON — The Upper Sandusky girls soccer team used a late goal to defeat Kenton, 2-1, and held off a surge by the Kenton in the second half to claim the victory. The Rams (3-0) got the winning goal in the 75th minute from Brooke Miller.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Justin Riegle scored five goals and assisted on the other as the Riverdale boys soccer team picked up its first victory of the season, 6-3, against Miller City on Saturday night.

SYCAMORE — Cambria Kohlenberg scored three times and assisted on another goal as the Mohawk girl’s soccer team rolled to an 8-0 victory against Columbus Briggs on Saturday. Natalie Ford scored a pair of goals, and Beth Dundore and Paige Sigler had one goal each.

Jess Holly and Molly Owens each had 18 kills as the Upper Sandusky volleyball team swept Tiffin Columbian, 25-21, 25-18, 25-16, on Saturday. Owens was extremely efficient, going 22 of 24, while Holly went 26 of 34. Ali Caudill added three kills and served four aces with an error on 14 attempts.

MOUNT BLANCHARD — Four different players scored as Riverdale shut out Continental, 4-0, to open its girls soccer season Saturday. Reygan Frey, Taylor Frey, Alex Rothlisberger and Gabi Rodriguez all had goals, and Reygan Frey and Aubreah Manns had assists.

NORTH ROBINSON — Carey’s Destiny DeFeo and Keely Wentz were first and second, respectively, to lead the Carey girls cross country team to a second-place finish Saturday in the Early Bird Invitational on Saturday at Colonel Crawford.
