LEIPSIC — Leipsic stayed unbeaten with a 25-16, 25-11, 25-22 victory against Riverdale in a Blanchard Valley Conference volleyball match Wednesday. Carrol Pauley led the Falcons (2-3) on offense with seven kills, going 20-of-20 hitting, and Cara Pauley added five kills.

Miller’s 39 leads Devils to win over Mohawks

CAREY — Trey Miller shot a 39 to lead Carey to a 165-181 non-conference golf victory against Fostoria St. Wendelin on Wednesday at Bob’s Countryside Golf Course. Trey Bame was right behind with a 40, Alex Kimmet shot a 42, and Easton Roark rounded out scoring with a 44 for the Blue Devils (6-3).

CAREY — Three Carey players had career nights Tuesday, and the Blue Devils themselves had a milestone program moment with a 25-11, 25-17, 24-26, 25-18 victory against rival Mohawk one night after beating New Riegel for the first time in 18 years.

KENTON — Devin Mouser shot a 40 to lead Ridgemont to a 202-237 victory against Riverdale on Tuesday at Kenton Veterans Memorial Golf Course. Harlon Roby paced the Falcons with a 56, and Mykenna Brandon was two strokes behind with a 58.

Royals sweep Eagles for N10 volleyball win

BUCYRUS — Wynford opened Northern 10 Athletic Conference play with a 25-15, 26-24, 25-11 victory against Colonel Crawford. The Royals (2-3, 1-0 N10) got eight kills each from Mallory Moore and Alyssa Harrer, who each made just two hitting errors.

Holly has 19 kills in rout of Rockets

Upper Sandusky had an easy time with Ridgedale in a 25-9, 25-7, 25-7 victory in Northern 10 Athletic Conference volleyball play Tuesday. Jess Holly had 19 kills on 26-of-28 hitting, and Molly Owens was 16 of 16 with 10 kills.

Cory-Rawson tops Mohawk

RAWSON — Mohawk suffered a 5-1 loss in its North Central Ohio Soccer Association girls soccer opener against Cory-Rawson on Tuesday. Carolina Schutz and Becka Schutz had first-half goals for the Hornets (2-0, 1-0 NCOSA).
