Warriors 7th grade gets win

The Mohawk seventh grade football team defeated Bucyrus, 22-6, on Tuesday. Trey Combs threw touchdown passes of 49 and 62 yards to Austin Tusing, and Jesse Leeth had a 1-yard touchdown run. Combs threw a two-point conversion pass to Mason Danner. On defense, Troy Russell had a fumble recovery for the Warriors.

Wynford 2nd in golf tri-match

CRESTLINE — Wynford topped Crestline and lost to Ridgedale in a non-conference golf tri-match Tuesday at Valley View Golf Course. The Rockets topped the Royals, 189-209, and the Bulldogs finished with a 244.

SYCAMORE — Cambria Kohlenberg scored three times and assisted on another goal as the Mohawk girl’s soccer team rolled to an 8-0 victory against Columbus Briggs on Saturday. Natalie Ford scored a pair of goals, and Beth Dundore and Paige Sigler had one goal each.
