After a pair of victories by one match, the Upper Sandusky girls tennis team earned a sweep of River Valley to remain undefeated Friday. Though they earned a sweep, the Rams (3-0) did not win most of their matches easily.

FOSTORIA — One day after Brayden Dunlap was tournament medalist in the Tiger Invitational, teammate Chet Margraf earned the honor Friday, but the Warriors were beat for the first time, finishing second in the Lakota Invitational at Loudon Meadows Golf Course.

WILLARD — Zane Kitzler led Upper Sandusky to a fourth-place finish with an 87 in the Willard Invitational played Friday at Willard Golf Club. The Rams shot a 360, which was behind Black River, New London and Bellevue.

Upper Sandusky High School is searching for an athletic field line caretaker for the 2016-17 school year. The person is responsible for lining USHS and Upper Sandusky Middle School athletic fields.

Upper Sandusky High School is selling a variety of sports passes for the upcoming school year in the athletic office. All-sport passes allow admission into all USHS and middle school home athletic events (excluding tournaments) for the 2015-16 school year.

Zak Amert, of Upper Sandusky, scored a hole-in-one Aug. 7 at Lincoln Hills Golf Club. He used a 5-iron for the ace on the 166-yard hole No. 2.
