MOREHEAD, Ky. — Even as coach Mike McGuire talked about the amazingly successful season of the Morehead State University baseball team last week, it got even better.

The Upper Sandusky track and field team had its banquet recently, and many came away with awards.

A number of area teams will be switching divisions in the upcoming year as the Ohio High School Athletic Association announced classifications for fall sports and boys and girls basketball Wednesday.

Carey’s Felicite Smith and Riverdale’s Taylor Farmer were named to the Division IV all-district softball first team in a release recently.

The 2015 Upper Sandusky High School Hall of Fame class will include Kerri Jo (Kraus) Thiel and Greg Micheli. They will be inducted prior to the Sept. 18 football game against Buckeye Central.
