LEXINGTON — Wynford’s Kaleb Alspach made the most of his one shot to play football as a senior. Alspach, who missed this past fall season for the Royals with a torn anterior cruciate ligament, medial cruciate ligament and meniscus in his knee, forced a fumble that turned the North Central Ohio Football Coaches Association All-Star Game in favor of his North team, which went on to run away from the South, 30-8, on Saturday night at Lexington.
Upper Sandusky’s David Young and Riverdale’s Taylor Farmer earned top honors on the All-Daily Chief-Union softball team. Young was voted coach of the year, and Farmer earned player of the year honors.
