ORLANDO, FLA. — Mohawk’s Cole Draper went 9-1 with the Oak Harbor Rockets in the AAU Wrestling Scholastic Duals at the World of Sports Complex at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando, Florida, last weekend. Draper (170), who will be a junior this fall, received a silver medal and earned All-American AAU status.
WOOSTER — The 46th annual Camp Fighting Scot basketball camp at the College of Wooster is set for Sunday through Wednesday and July 19-22. Camp Fighting Scot is available for boys entering fourth through 12th grades.
CINCINNATI — After having its previous three tournaments washed out because of rain, the 9-and-younger Wyandot Boys baseball team won the Fourth of July Extravaganza in Cincinnati on Sunday. The Wyandot Boys finished the season 30-4-1 and won four tournaments.
CALEDONIA — Kenton’s Britton Hensel won his third Heart of Ohio Junior Golf Association tournament in the 16-18 age group Tuesday playing through downpours and some wind at Whetstone Golf Club in Caledonia.
