The Hardin County Veterans' Service Office is now accepting applications for a part-time driver who will be committed to transporting veterans to and from VA Medical Facilities (primary responsibility).  Because this position is a part-time position, the person who is selected will be driving on an as needed basis (hours will vary Monday- Friday).  We do offer a competitive hourly wage for this position ($16 per hour).   
Veterans are encouraged to apply, however, if a qualified veteran is not available than a spouse or surviving spouse, adult child, or parent of a veteran can be hired to fill the open position (we encouraged all interested parties to apply).

Potential applicants must provide their own or the veteran's DD214, which shows an other than a dishonorable discharge, along with a valid driver license (CDL is not required). Be prepared to take both a drug test and a physical, if the position is offered.
