Boe Wills, potential heir of the Estate of Sarah C. Hough, whose address or whereabouts is unknown, will take notice that on January 8, 2025 a complaint was filed in the Court of Common Pleas, Probate Division, Wyandot County, Ohio, at Upper Sandusky, Ohio as case # 20241039A, wherein Bernard Wills, Administrator, is Plaintiff and Board of County Commissioners Wyandot County Ohio, etal, are Defendants, to sell the real estate of the decedent to pay debts. Said real estate is described as follows:
Situated in the County of Wyandot, State of Ohio, in the Village of Harpster and bounded and described as follows:
Being Lot No. 156 in Wood and Harpster’s Addition to the Village of Harpster, formerly Fowler City, Wyandot County, Ohio.
SAVE AND EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBED REAL ESTATE:
Being a parcel of land situated in part of Lot #156 of Wood and Harpster's Addition to the Village of Harpster, Pitt Township, Wyandot County, Ohio, and further described as follows:
Commencing at a set iron rod marking the northwest corner of said Lot # 156 and being the Point of Beginning;
thence N 90º 00’ 00” E along the north line of said lot, a distance of 136.44 feet to a set iron rod marking the northeast corner of said Lot #156;
thence S 00º 00’ 00” W along the east line of said Lot #156, a distance of 100.00 feet to a set iron rod;
thence S 90º 00’ 00” W, a distance of 136.44 feet to a set iron rod located on the west line of said Lot #156;
thence N 00º 00’ 00” E along the west line of said Lot #156, a distance of 100.00 feet to the Point of Beginning.
Containing in all 0.313 acres of land, more or less, subject to all legal highways and easements of record.
Bearings are assumed for angular measurement only. All set iron rods are 1/2” diameter with plastic caps imprinted “VBK #7457”. This legal description is based upon a survey performed by Victor B. Koehler, P.S. #7457, in November 1996.

You are required to answer said Complaint within twenty-eight (28) days after the last publication of this notice, which will be published once a week for six consecutive weeks, and the last publication will be made on February 20, 2025.
In case of failure to answer or otherwise respond as permitted by the Ohio Rules of Civil Procedure within the time stated, judgment by default will be rendered against you for the relief demanded in said Complaint.

The Mohawk Local Board of Education will hold a meeting of its capital improvement committee meeting on Friday, January 24, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. in the Mohawk Community Center Building, 295 State Highway 231, Sycamore, Ohio  44882.

WYANDOT COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PY24 BROWNFIELD REMEDIATION
REQUEST FOR DEMOLITION
CONTRACTORS’ PROPOSAL
The Wyandot County Board of Commissioners has been awarded for the Brownfield Remediation Program through the Ohio Department of Development. Through this grant program we will be able to demolish commercial buildings on sites that are brownfields. We are looking for contractors to demolish brownfield properties.
The brownfield bid specification packet is available via email at wycocom@co.wyandot.oh.us county website co.wyandot.oh.us or pick up at Commissioners Office. There will be a pre bid meeting Wednesday, January 15, at the brownfield site. The bid packet must be submitted no later than Friday, January 31, 2025 to the following address: Wyandot County Commissioners, c/o Treston Hall County Clerk, 109 S. Sandusky Avenue, RM 10, Upper Sandusky, Ohio 43351. The Commissioners will open the bids Tuesday February 4, 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same address.

Monthly meetings of the Board of Supervisors of the Wyandot Soil and Water Conservation District are held at the Gottfried Nature Center, 9783 County Highway 330, Upper Sandusky, on the second Thursday of each month, at 8:00 a.m., unless public notice of a change in meeting place, date or time is posted at the county courthouse. Notices of special meetings or changes to regular scheduled meetings will be posted at the county courthouse at least 24 hours prior to the meeting. For a nominal fee, the media or public may request notice of meetings on a particular topic by contacting Eileen Kuenzli at Wyandot SWCD at 419-731-2557.
