The City Council of Upper Sandusky will hold a budget hearing on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 6:45 p.m. in Council Chambers at the Municipal Building, 119 North Seventh Street, Upper Sandusky, Ohio.  All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments.  A copy of the 2025 proposed budget is on file and available for inspection at the Auditor’s office in the Municipal Building between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Sealed bids will be received by the Jackson Township Trustees at 14310 State Route 37 Forest, Ohio
45843 and will not be received after 7:00PM on July 29, 2024 for the construction of a new steel township building 42’x82’x17’ with one restroom.
The request is a proposal for ALL work associated with the steel building as a single bid.
This is a Design / Build project for the complete new construction of a 42’x82’x17’ steel building with one
restroom. which should include engineering and architectural design, permit drawings and permits. There is a criteria floor plan with the work outlined to comply with the owner’s expectations. Contractor must include all costs for a complete and operational project.
The bid package is available at 14310 State Route 37 Forest, Ohio 45843 . Contact the Fiscal Officer at
419-273-2656. Bids will be opened at 7:00 pm July 29, 2024 for tabulation. The winning bidder will be notified no later than August 1, 2024.
Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and be accompanied by a certified check on some solvent bank in the amount of not less than (10) percent of the net bid as a guaranty that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. Should any bid be rejected, such check will be returned to the bidder, and should any bid be accepted, such check will be returned to the bidder upon properly securing and execution of the
contract the right is reserved to reject any and all bids. Jackson Township, Wyandot County reserves the option to waive nonmaterial irregularities.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY, OHIO TO ENTER INTO A COMMUNITY REINVESTMENT AREA AGREEMENT WITH UPPER SANDUSKY HEALTH FACILITIES 2, LLC AND VANCREST OF UPPER SANDUSKY, LLC, AND DECLARING THIS ACT AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 3rd day of June, 2024.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to enter into a Community Reinvestment Area (CRA) Agreement with Upper Sandusky Health Facilities 2, LLC and Vancrest of Upper Sandusky, LLC for a new skilled nursing and assisted living facility.

Notice is hereby given that pursuant to Article V., Section 5.16, of the Municipal Charter of the City of Upper Sandusky, an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF UPPER SANDUSKY TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED TO RECEIVE GRANT FUNDING FROM THE STATE OF OHIO, DEPARTMENT OF DEVELOPMENT FOR THE UPPER SANDUSKY INTERCEPTOR SEWER AND COMBINED SEWER OVERFLOW REDUCTION/ELIMINATION PROJECT, AND DECLARING THIS ACT AN EMERGENCY.”, was passed by the Council of the City of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, on the 17th day of June, 2024.  The purpose of this Ordinance is to accept the $7,140,000.00 awarded grant funding from the Ohio Department of Development for the Upper Sandusky Interceptor Sewer and Combined Sewer Overflow Reduction/Elimination Project.
