Early Intervention Service Coordinator –
WYANDOT COUNTY PUBLIC HEALTH:
Wyandot County Public Health is seeking a qualified individual to work within the Help Me Grow Early Intervention program as a service-coordinator. The Early Intervention Service Coordinator is responsible for efficiently managing a caseload and assisting each eligible family in identifying, locating, coordinating, and monitoring mandated services for children from birth to three years of age. This position monitors Individual Family Service Plans, conducts developmental screenings, and works as a member of multidisciplinary team, ensuring families are aware of their rights under Part C of Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA).
Qualifications: Experience with and working knowledge of infant and pediatric development; excellent organizational skills; strong interpersonal skills, and ability to multitask. Must hold an associate's degree in a social services field (child development, social worker, education, etc.), experience with home visiting, and a background working with children who have disabilities, special health care needs, and/or delays.
Starting salary will depend on qualifications with an excellent benefits package available including medical, vision, and dental insurance, OPERS, paid holidays, personal, and sick leave.
