As Frey turned 86 years old, she also welcomed her 86th great-grandchild into the world. Frey and her husband, the late Gerald R. Frey, had 15 children of their own. Frey now counts 68 grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and 86 great-grandchildren among her clan. The latest edition to the family is Blakely Grace Frey, who was born at 8:36 a.m. Thursday at Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, to Kenneth and Holly Frey, of Forest. She weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces. Frey’s 15 children all stayed in the Wyandot County area as adults, but the grandchildren are spread throughout the country and some at times have lived overseas.
