Never forgotten Posted on September 11, 2015 0 Daily Chief-Union/Alissa Paolella Upper Sandusky firefighters set up their annual memorial outside the city safety building to honor the 343 New York firefighters who died during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. The memorial includes 343 American flags planted in the ground, as well as a coat and hat draped in a kneeling position before the flagpole.
