Soup cook-off winners Posted on January 30, 2019 0 Submitted photo The What’s Cookin’ cookbook discussion group held its second annual soup cook-off Monday night at the Upper Sandusky Community Library. Contestants prepared soup for judges Debbie Frey, Kate Wentling and Irv Woods. Reba Lautermilch took first place with her daughter’s cheese chicken tortellini soup, Brian Hemminger was second with his Thai chicken vegetable soup and Wilma McClain took third with her cheesy broccoli noodle soup. Next month’s potluck theme is Jell-O. Pictured with their prizes are (from left) Hemminger, Lautermilch and McClain.
