Third COVID-19 death reported in Wyandot County Posted on June 12, 2020 0 Wyandot County Public Health reported the third COVID-related death in Wyandot County Thursday. The patient was in her 90s and COVID-19 was identified as a contributing factor to her death. Thursday a total of 49 coronavirus cases were reported in the county, including 43 lab confirmed cases and six probable cases. Two patients currently are hospitalized. Of the reported individuals, there have been three deaths and 42 recoveries. Do not rely on the number of positive tests to determine when to take protection seriously; Practice social distancing, wear face coverings in public and self-quarantine when possible. As of 2 p.m. Thursday, the Ohio Department of Health has reported 40,004 confirmed and probable cases, 6,753 hospitalizations, and 2,490 deaths in Ohio.
