HARPSTER — The public is invited to attend the 52nd Independence Day observance at 12 p.m. July 4 at John Green Cemetery near Harpster.
Elizabeth Needles will read the Declaration of Independence. The reading time will be approximately 20 minutes.
Attendees are invited to bring a picnic lunch, blankets, tables and chairs.
The cemetery is located off the east side of Prospect-Upper Sandusky Road, approximately 7.9 miles north of Big Island or approximately 2 miles south of Harpster on CH 119.
In the event of rain, the reading will move to the firehouse in Morral.
