Open Door to sponsor supply drive Posted on August 6, 2015 0 Open Door Resource Center will sponsor a school supply drive for local students again this year. Supplies collected during the drive will be distributed to parents from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Open Door Resource Center, 212 W. Wyandot Ave., Upper Sandusky. In addition to necessities like scissors, crayons, markers and glue, Open Door Executive Director Kris Joseph encouraged donors to think about giving backpacks, book bags, 1-inch notebooks and Trapper Keeper-style binder notebooks. “Often, parents struggle to afford these items, which can be expensive especially when they have multiple children,” Joseph said. Community members who want to donate may drop off items at Open Door before Tuesday. Cash donations also will be accepted.
