Safety services to be set up Saturday at Walmart Posted on July 22, 2016 0 Walmart is hosting a safety carnival from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 23 at its Upper Sandusky location. The Ohio State Highway Patrol, the Upper Sandusky police and fire departments and Wyandot County EMS, Health Department, Job and Family Services, Red Cross, Sheriff’s Office and United Way will join Walmart employees for the annual event to benefit Children’s Miracle Network. In addition to the emergency vehicles and safety information on display, Walmart staff members will have games, face painting and prizes for children, and Apostolic Gospel Church will present a puppet show. Special raffles will benefit Children’s Miracle Network, and lunch will be available for purchase. The safety carnival will be in the Walmart parking lot near the lawn and garden entrance.
