Body of kayaker found in Ohio state park identified Posted on March 21, 2016 0 RAVENNA (AP) — A 20-year-old kayaker whose body was found by searchers on Sunday at a state park in northeastern Ohio has been identified. Authorities say two 20-year-old men were kayaking Saturday at West Branch State Park near Ravenna when their kayaks filled with water and capsized. A group of anglers helped one man to shore, but the second one went under water. The chief investigator for the Portage County Coroner’s Office says the body of the kayaker found Sunday has been identified as Luke Collins of Medina. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is investigating what caused the kayaks to capsize. A department spokesman says waves were choppy when the accident happened.
