FOSTORIA — Jerald “Jerry” Tiell, 67, of Fostoria, passed away at 6:15 p.m. during the presentation of the Christmas North Star, Monday, Dec. 21, 2020, at Toledo ProMedica Hospital. Jerry battled COVID for 39 days for one more chance to be with his bride, children and to be called “Pa Pa” again.
A private funeral mass and burial will be held for the family only on Monday at All Saints Catholic Church, New Riegel. Family and friends may livestream the Mass at allsaints-parsish.com. Due to COVID the family invites family and friends to a no contact outdoor drive through visitation from 1-4 p.m. Sunday at the Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home in Fostoria. Attendees are asked to enter the driveway off of Tiffin Street and exit onto Union Street.
Memorials may be made to the Kansas Fire Department, St. Wendelin or All Saints Church.
