Local author, historian releases 10th, final book Posted on April 28, 2018 0 Local author and historian Dick Gerber recently published his 10th and final book. The book is titled “Down Memory Lane: Over 600 Unusual and Often Overlooked Facts about Wyandot County and its Citizens.” Gerber hopes it can be used as a reference book for all Wyandot County residents. The 168-page book features over 50 new color photos catalogued according to Wyandot County history, Indians, villages, agriculture, sports and miscellaneous history. The book is available for purchase now at the Village Restaurant in Upper Sandusky for $20. Gerber also can mail the books from 2821 CH 82, Nevada, OH 44849 for $24. A book signing is planned for 1-3 p.m. May 12 at the Village Restaurant located at 435 N. Warpole St., Upper Sandusky.
