Man shot in home invasion Posted on April 11, 2016 0 MANSFIELD (AP) — Authorities in northern Ohio say a 35-year-old home invasion suspect has been hospitalized after he was shot multiple times by the son of the home’s resident. The Richland County Sheriff’s Office says three suspects broke into a Mansfield home early Sunday and threatened the person who lived there with a gun. Investigators say the son of the home’s resident then emerged from the basement with a gun and shot one of the suspects multiple times. Authorities say the other two suspects in the home invasion took off before police were called around 1:30 a.m. The 35-year-old suspect was taken to a hospital. His condition was not released. No charges have been filed. Authorities say they found a large amount of drugs at the house.
