Plea hearing set for man in slayings of his mom, girlfriend Posted on March 23, 2016 0 MOUNT VERNON (AP) — Court documents and a central Ohio prosecutor say a man accused of fatally shooting his mother and girlfriend while high on a synthetic drug now is expected to plead guilty. A change of plea hearing is scheduled for April 4 in Knox County for 31-year-old Travis Bonham. Investigators say Bonham admitted he shot his mother and his 23-year-old girlfriend Sept. 29 while high on the drug known as bath salts. Bonham pleaded not guilty to charges including aggravated murder in October. Court documents posted recently indicate Bonham plans to plead guilty. The Columbus Dispatch reports Prosecutor Chip McConville also said he expects Bonham to plead guilty.
