Police chase man through several Ohio counties Posted on February 1, 2016 0 MANSFIELD, Ohio (AP) — Authorities say a man led police on a high-speed chase through several Ohio counties before he was apprehended. The Mansfield News Journal reports police tried to pull over a man on Interstate 480 for speeding around 1 a.m. Sunday in the Cleveland suburb of Brook Park in northeastern Ohio. Police say he crashed a pickup truck into a barrier and continued driving south on Interstate 71. The State Highway Patrol says the man was driving at least 100 mph when he hit stop sticks at the Ashland-Richland county line and in Morrow County before crashing into a median cable and fleeing on foot. He was apprehended around 2 a.m. in Delaware County north of Columbus. Patrol dispatchers Monday said they couldn’t confirm the man’s identity or charges against him. ——— Information from: News Journal, http://www.mansfieldnewsjournal.com
