Police: Man fatally shot found in yard in Ohio Posted on August 26, 2015 0 COLUMBUS (AP) — Police say a man fatally shot was found in a yard in central Ohio with several gunshot wounds. A Columbus police statement says police responding to a report of a shooting found 48-year-old Kenneth Lamont Pearson in a front yard Tuesday night. Police say they arrived about 11:15 p.m. and paramedics pronounced Pearson dead at 11:24 p.m. Police say they had no known suspect or motive in the shooting, but the investigation was continuing. They say it was the 62nd homicide of the year in Columbus.
