An officer gave a Hubbard, Texas man a ride to his vehicle from the Wyandot Memorial Hospital emergency room early the morning of Sept. 3. An officer performed a welfare check on an Upper Sandusky man in the 900 block of Eulalia Avenue the morning of Sept. 3. Wyandot County EMS assisted at the scene. The man declined medical treatment and said he was fine. Deshon G. Davis, Winterville, North Carolina, was cited for stop sign violation on Spring Street near South Sandusky Avenue the afternoon of Sept. 3. An Upper Sandusky man provided court-ordered fingerprints at the police station the afternoon of Sept. 3. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of North Third Street for an Upper Sandusky woman who had been locked out of her house the afternoon of Sept. 3. An officer was able to gain entry to the woman’s residence and let the woman in. A caller reported a low-hanging line in a yard in the 300 block of Front Street the afternoon of Sept. 3. An officer was dispatched to the 200 block of East Johnson Street for an unruly juvenile the afternoon of Sept. 3. A report was forwarded to the juvenile’s probation officer. A caller reported a vehicle was partially blocking his driveway in the 400 block of North Seventh Street late the afternoon of Sept. 3. An officer performed a golf cart inspection in the 300 block of Sweet Street late the afternoon of Sept. 3. Dusty R. Maag, Marion, was cited for driving under non-compliance suspension, interference with an intersection and unsafe motor vehicle on North Eighth Street near Houpt Drive the evening of Sept. 3. A passenger, Inez R. Corona, was arrested on a warrant out of Marion County and transferred to the custody of the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Ethan S. Scott, Upper Sandusky, was cited for expired registration in the 400 block of South Sandusky Avenue the night of Sept. 3. An officer performed a civil stand-by in the 400 block of North Hazel Street the afternoon of Sept. 4. An officer removed an immobilization club from a vehicle in Bucyrus late the afternoon of Sept. 4. Abel D. Rodriguez-Garcia, Upper Sandusky, was cited for illegal U-turn in the 300 block of North Sandusky Avenue early the morning of Sept. 5. An officer assisted an Upper Sandusky woman with a vehicle unlock in the 900 block of Eulalia Avenue late the afternoon of Sept. 5. Griselda Salinas-Guerrero, Upper Sandusky, was cited for speeding, no operator’s license and child restraint violation on South Hazel Street near Spring Street the night of Sept. 5. A caller reported a suspicious vehicle on River’s Edge Lane the morning of Sept. 6. Contact was made with an Upper Sandusky man, who said he was assisting with an Eagle Scout project. Rosalyn R. Coburn, Marion, was cited for speeding in the 400 block of North Sandusky Avenue the afternoon of Sept. 6. Brad J. Newland, Upper Sandusky, was arrested on a warrant out of Crawford County the evening of Sept. 6. An officer assisted a Carey man with a vehicle unlock in the 9000 block of Ohio 53 the night of Sept. 6. Wyandot County Sheriff’s Office Brandon L. Peiffer, Carey, was cited for failure to control following a one-vehicle crash on TH 96 the morning of Aug. 31. Peiffer was traveling southbound in the 1000 block of TH 96 when he went off the right side of the roadway, striking a concrete post and a cattle gate, causing disabling damage. A Nevada woman reported she was scammed while attempting to purchase puppies online the afternoon of Sept. 2. A report was filed and the woman said she had made contact with her bank. Matthew C. Kurtz, New Riegel, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Wyandot County Common Pleas Court for failure to comply with a court order on original charges of OVI the morning of Sept. 3. A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 100 block of West Saffel Avenue, in Sycamore, for a welfare check on a man sleeping in a running vehicle early the morning of Sept. 4. Contact was made with a Bloomville man, who had a suspended driver’s license. The man said he had a family member coming to pick him up and the man’s vehicle was moved to a legal parking spot. A deputy performed a welfare check on a Carey woman in the 9000 block of TH 18 the morning of Sept. 5. The woman said she was fine. The woman’s husband discussed a problem between family members with the deputy. A rural Harpster woman reported possible vandalism to her vehicle in the 11000 block of CH 71 the afternoon of Sept. 5. Brianna S. Wyckoff, Detroit, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court for failure to appear on original charges of possession of marijuana and possession of marijuana paraphernalia late the afternoon of Sept. 5. A Wharton man reported suspicious activity in the 300 block of West Sandusky Street, in Wharton, the evening of Sept. 5. The responding deputy made contact with all parties involved and the issue was resolved amicably. A caller reported a loose horse on TH 71 near Ohio 37 the night of Sept. 5. The responding deputy made contact with a nearby property owner, who said deer have been spooking her horses lately. A deputy was dispatched to the 9000 block of Ohio 199 for a car versus deer crash the night of Sept. 5. A Fostoria man said he struck a deer with his vehicle in the 6000 block of Ohio 199, causing functional damage. Insurance information was collected and the man was advised to stay on the scene the next time a similar crash takes place. A caller reported a loose dog in the 5000 block of CH 128 the afternoon of Sept. 6. The responding deputy captured the dog and transported it to the Wyandot County Humane Society. Joseph R. Lininger, Sycamore, was arrested on a bench warrant out of Upper Sandusky Municipal Court the night of Sept. 6.
